When sending mail to the writers, producers, executives, and actors, please remember
to stay positive. Positive comments go a lot further and are more accepted and appreciated than anything negative.
First off, let me apologize for this being long. I
want to stress how important it is that we keep writing. Whether we are sending
postcards, letters, or e-mail, what matters most is that we keep doing it! We
have to keep telling all of them how important James/EJ are to us. Please, if
you would read through what is here and seriously think about participating in some way.

Adonis 2009 Win/James and EJ Writing
Campaign
On September 2, 2009 James
was named the winner of Soaphunks.net's Adonis 2009 competition. It was James' THIRD win in a row. He was once again declared
the hunkiest man in all of daytime. It is a status he is very much worthy of and that worthiness goes far beyond his looks.
James Scott is the total package! In light of the recent Soap Opera Digest interview and James not being featured maybe we
need to remind TPTB and Soap Opera Digest how much support and love there is for James out there.
Soaphunks.net's Adonis contest is its largest event.
Every qualifying male on all soaps are a part of the semifinals rounds of the contest. The 1st and 2nd place finalist from
all soaps have a chance to advance to the finals. Over a 16 week period fans cast their votes between 32 male soap stars from
all daytime soaps. At the end of this time period the one star left becomes the hunkiest man in daytime (the Adonis). This year there were 2.8 million votes cast in the final round. James Scott: Days of Our Lives Leading Man
Since first showing up in Salem on May 30, 2006,
James Scott has demonstrated many times that he is a leading man. He is one of the most talented actors on Days.
James has the ability to excel with any part of his character, whether he is playing the sexy romantic role, the loving father,
or the cocky arrogant bad boy. Along with his ability to act out any dialogue given to him, James is able to be expressive
without words. When dialogue fails or is nonexistant, James, with his mannerisms, is able to show exactly what EJ thinks and
feels. In scenes alone or with other actors James can bring the scene to life. His performance will be compelling and captivating
no matter what is happening. Simply put, James can do it all. He is truly dedicated to what he does and it is evident in his
work. This campaign is designed to stress to those in charge just what a leading man they have in James Scott.
EJ DiMera: A Bad Boy with a Good Heart
We have seen the writing for EJ begin to improve. However, we would like to continue to
make those in charge aware of how EJ should be written and how much we love this character and want to see him around. We
should continue to remind them that EJ is a complex character. We should also remind them that EJ's complexity cannot be ignored
and forgotten because of how James portrays EJ. It is our hope that the writing for EJ will continue to improve, and a return
to a consistently written EJ will occur. The following is a postcard campaign to address our concerns to the people in charge
at Days about the writing for EJ. We need to let our voices be heard about this great character. We have to let them know
how much we adore EJ Dimera-the bad boy with a good heart.
